Maine Real Estate Broker License
In order to become a broker in Maine you need to fill out the broker application and submit a fee of $80 to the state. A Criminal records check will also be conducted. You will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age. You will need to have been a licensed associate broker for 1 year. To renew your broker’s license you will need to complete 15 hours of approved courses.
Real Estate Salesperson License
Complete an introduction to real estate course with a minimum of 75% pass rate. You will need to have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of ago.
