PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The Bachelor of Science program in business administration (BSBA) is designed for students seeking to acquire a high level of knowledge from a broad base of business concepts to create solutions to contemporary business problems. The student will acquire the skills needed to integrate management, marketing, accounting, and finance concepts to develop strategies to improve short-, medium- and long-term organizational performance.

The program's specific objectives are:
-Provide the student with a well-rounded education through the study of mathematics, natural sciences, social science, humanities, and oral and written communication.

-Enable students to develop analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills applicable to real-world problems.

-Develop the skills needed to analyze trends in economic activity on an economy-wide and industry-specific level to develop reasonable forecasts for organizational activity.

-Enable students to apply sound management principles to the functions of planning, organizing, coordinating, and decision making with respect to operational and strategic activities.

Business Administration (MBA)

Computer Science (Bachelor's)


Getting an ACCIS degree in computer science means you take 15 courses for 60 hours of academic credit. We use C++ as the core language because it's an object-oriented style universally used in the real world so you'll be prepared to get to work right after you graduate.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
This program is intended for the student who has graduated high school, is experienced and comfortable with computers as a user, desires to learn computer science in a rigorous way and is self-motivated and capable of working with less direct supervision. The objectives of the program are to:
Provide the student with a well-rounded education through the study of mathematics, natural sciences, social science, humanities, and written and oral communication.
Develop, in the student, fundamental understanding of the major areas of computer science: algorithms and data structures, artificial intelligence, computer organization and architecture, numerical computation, operating systems, programming language theory, and software engineering.
Enable students to develop practical critical thinking and interpersonal skills applicable to real-world problems.
Develop the student into a proficient software developer, employing sound approaches to software design and implementation, with the skills needed by the software industry now and the ability to adapt to future developments.
Prepare students for entry into the computer science profession, especially in software development, and for entry into our M.S. program.
Allow the student to tailor the curriculum to emphasize areas of interest.

Information Systems (Master's)


The aim of the MSIS program is to produce graduates who are capable of leadership in information systems through the formulation and implementation of information systems to address organizational needs and provide decision support.
