Gradute Certificate in Administration of Information Security
The Graduate Certificate in Administration of Information Security program from NSU's Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences requires a total of 15 credit-hours (five courses). The graduate certificate is recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) based on its certification of the school's curriculum under NSA national training standards NSTISSI No. 4011 (Information Systems Security Professionals) and CNSSI No. 4013 (System Administrators). As a result of this certification, Federal civilian and military personnel will be permitted to take the school's certified graduate courses under government sponsorship, and the school is authorized to issue certificates to students who complete such courses.
PHD in Computer Information Systems
The Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from NSU's Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences is offered in a hybrid format, which combines traditional and online instruction to provide professionals the opportunity to pursue graduate study while continuing to work in their current positions. The program is especially well suited to professionals in business, government, industry, or education who are involved with research, design, implementation, management, evaluation, utilization, or teaching of computer information systems. It provides technology-oriented professionals with the knowledge and ability to develop creative solutions to substantive real-world problems. Each student must complete eight core courses, two research project courses, and a dissertation. Students also have the option of pursuing this degree with a concentration in Information Security, which is recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) based on its certification of the school's curriculum for compliance with the requirements of NSA national training standards. Students who complete the concentration may also request a graduate certificate.

This program offers a course of study leading to the degree of doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University's Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences. The Master of Arts degree in Teaching and Learning (M.A.T.L.) degree program has been designed by Nova Southeastern University to meet the needs of busy classroom practitioners by linking theory to best practices in the classroom. As you learn from today's leading educational theorists, master teachers will model and reflect on best practice strategies that you can begin to implement and develop as part of your daily classroom repertoire. The M.A.T.L. degree program is composed of integrated curricular blocks, each consisting of six graduate credit hours.
Each block contains multi-dimensional modules that cover specific academic subject areas. Course concepts are reinforced by combining peer interaction, best-practice videos and active applications in a problem-based learning framework. Video and online distance education technologies are used to create a productive and enriching educational experience for each participant. This degree program is a 30-credit-hour sequential curriculum, which can be completed in less than a year. There are five 8-week terms, courses are configured in blocks of six credit hours each. The K-12 Technology Integration specialization explores how technology can enhance instructional learning.
Master of Science in Computer Information Systems
Nova Southeastern University's Master of Science in Computer Information Systems (CIS) is a 36 credit-hour program offered by their Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences. It focuses on the technological foundations of computer information systems, including areas such as database systems, human-computer interaction, data and computer communications, information security, computer graphics, software engineering, and object-orientation. It is designed to give students a thorough knowledge of the field and to provide an enduring foundation for future professional growth.

Students can take online courses, traditional evening classes on our main campus, or a combination of both—and earn your degree in as few as 18 months.
