This multidisciplinary 18-credit graduate certificate program identifies effective solutions to complex fisheries management challenges at local and international levels. Participants will acquire and practice skills in biology, economics, law and social science as they deal with these issues that impact and cross a wide range of perspectives and disciplines, including the emerging areas of rights- and ecosystem-based fisheries management.

The program will prepare students to be the link between scientists, decision-makers and stakeholders when handling multi-faceted issues that come with managing commercial fisheries. The mission of the Master of Education (Ed.M.) is to support practicing K-12 teachers early in their careers. The program aims to nurture a stance of continuous learning and development among teachers that values scholarship, reflection, inquiry, openness and social responsibility. The program also facilitates the online professional growth of teachers as: informed practitioners, reflective researchers, and professional leaders and advocates. This is a 45-credit online degree program for the convenience of practicing teachers worldwide.

You will complete 14 core credits, 12 credits specific to the grade level you teach and 19 credits in focused electives. You have the option to add an ESOL/Bilingual Endorsement.
