Understanding the law - through
a Master of Science in Law - may
help your career more than an
MBA
No doubt about it - greater career opportunities exist for professionals with advanced degrees and specialized knowledge. But an MBA is not the only way to advance your career in business. Gaining an understanding of the law from a prestigious university that specializes in the study of law can prove a significant career advantage.
Woodbury Institute of Champlain College's 18-month, 30-credit, unique MSL program educates non-lawyer working professionals about the law. Our regionally accredited program with our experienced faculty of attorneys is designed so you build a greater public understanding of the law; develop the ability to offer enhanced expertise in the legal field to your employer and to pursue further career opportunities.
Upon completion of the core courses, you may select from one of three concentration areas: Managerial Law, Human Resources Law, or Health Law. Each concentration area provides in-depth knowledge of law pertaining to a specific industry or area of expertise.
Woodbury Institute of Champlain College is included in the accreditation of Champlain College. Champlain College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.
