Tuition Assistance
At Strayer University, we help you maximize your investment from the very beginning with tuition and fees that are extremely competitive. And if you need financial assistance, we'll guide you through the process of applying for grants, scholarships, loans and work study programs. The amount of assistance is determined by federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Federal Grants and Loans: Through the Virtual Financial Aid Office, you can learn about federal grants and loans and can apply online via links to the U.S. Department of Education. The Virtual Financial Aid Office is fully supported by a student Financial Assistance Processing Center.
- Student Loan: As an alternative to federal loan programs, students are eligible, subject to credit approval, for low-cost, flexible loans through Sallie Mae’s Signature Student Loan program designed for Strayer University.
- Active Duty Military Scholarships: We are pleased to offer a scholarship that covers 100% of the undergraduate tuition (up to 2 courses per quarter) for Active Duty military personnel utilizing their military benefits. Graduate students can qualify for a special scholarship that covers a majority of tuition for up to 2 courses per quarter. In addition, your military experience and education will be carefully assessed for college credit, enabling you to earn your degree in the fastest way possible.
- Veterans Benefits: Strayer University remains in contact with the Department of Veterans Affairs so that we can advise you about current requirements and regulations. Strayer University is approved to offer Veterans Education Benefits to eligible students.
- Corporate Tuition Assistance: Many companies provide tuition benefits to their employees in the form of either direct payment to the school or reimbursing tuition expenses directly to the employee/student. Please check with your company's Human Resources or Training and Education department for more information about the education benefits available to you.
