What's a Bachelor's Degree and How Can I Get One?
Bachelor degrees are received when a student meets the credit requirements set forth by the institution based on national and state educational requirements. When your done with a 4-year bachelor's Degree you will have a great knowledge in finance, humanities, social sciences as well as communications. Everyone must take courses in general education. Like an associates degree a Bachelor Degree programs is set up so you take courses in communications, social sciences, math and humanities. By the time you start taking courses in your major (typically on the 3rd year of college) you start to take courses that are more closely related to the field you are attempting to receive.
How many college credits do you need to obtain your bachelor's degree?
In order to receive your Bachelor degree you will be required to take and pass a program between 120 and 130 credit hours. As discussed earlier a great number of students are taking the credits they earned in an AA degree and applying them towards a Bachelor's degree. The associate degree credits were probably taken via distance education or at a community college thus costing less than a normally 4 year college would cost. School vary so please contact your school adviser before enrolling in any school.
