Online Gardening Course |
The amazing world
of gardening is no longer just a fun pastime and has become
a multi-million dollar industry. When we were first asked to
start listing schools that offered gardening tools our staff
didn’t’ really understand why anyone would take a course to
become a gardener but were we wrong once we started looking
into what is necessary to make many of the areas you see
today looking beautiful and the responsibility that one is
given.

Let’s start out with what
most people thing of when you think of a gardener.
Where I live in California, I first think of the
person who comes and maintains our lawn and trims
our trees. I took my family to Disneyland one day
and when we arrived we saw all the amazing colors
that saturated the grounds at the park. Well someone
needed to design and maintain those amazing gardens.
Someone needs to make sure insects don’t take over
and kill plants that have survived for years. And
then it hit us, the term Gardner is just an very
basic term but the gardening industry consists of:
lawn maintenance, grounds personnel, athletic field
grounds keepers, gold courses, cemeteries, parks and
so on.
As a gardener you can be responsible for the plants,
weeks, pest prevention, replanting or planning. The
possibilities are endless and the course we have
listed from some of the largest and most recognized
schools in the industry will teach you what you need
to know in order to be successful.
So what do you need to do next to be successful in
this industry? To start we recommend taking a
certificate course that will give you the overall
training that you need. It will then be up to you
take specific courses related to the area you want
to specialize in. This could mean you take courses
in agriculture, horticulture, and nursery and even
turn management. We want you to be employed and we
see jobs available at nursery’s as well as even
state agencies. These state agencies make sure the
lawns and landscaping at all public government
buildings look the very best.
If you have the passion for gardening or nursery
then why not open up your own garden business and
sell plants, flowers, soil, etc. This is something
that you love so why not make even more money by
working on your own business. Even doing it out of
your home is possible as we recently looked up on
craigslist and found many that are selling trees and
palm trees here in California and when we arrive to
pick out our purchase we realize they are operating
it out of their backyard and making great cash.
I had never considered this career even though I
loved to garden. I had a chance to review one of the
books that were being taught and I was blown away
with the information that it included. The most
amazing thing is I’m actually considering enrolling
in a course myself and I already have a fulltime job
and I want to learn about it to make my own lawn,
backyard and garden better. If you are hobbyists I
think you can also benefit from a gardening course. |
