The second most popular university in this state is the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Another viable choice for students to consider is Creighton University, which is a Jesuit university in Omaha. This well established institution offers students many different options that they can pursue; in fact, about half of the enrollment at this school is students who are working at a graduate level degree. Many students also find that the University of Nebraska at Kearney is a great option that helps them address their academic plans. Located approximately two hours from Omaha, this university is comprised of four colleges: the college of natural and social sciences, the college of fine arts and humanities, the college of education, and the college of business and technology. Finally, you will want to seriously think about Bellevue University being one of your options. This university is located near Omaha and offers students almost 50 undergraduate degree programs to consider and about 13 graduate level degree programs. At this learning institution you can expect academic programs to be offered in areas such as public safety, information technology, arts and humanities, healthcare, and business and leadership. Of course, in alignment with many other states, the students in Nebraska will also have the opportunity to complete at least a portion of your degree requirements in an online learning format. Keep in mind, this type of learning approach may not fit every student’s learning style.
